The initial brief for the flooring in this home specified the use of reclaimed timber, however, as with many reclaimed materials there is often a challenge in creating a consistent and seamless look within a project. Following the exploration of various options, it was decided that we would handcraft the floorboards using Quarter and Rift Sawn Oak combined with traditional finishing techniques, resulting in boards that felt authentic to the home’s original flooring.
