We’re seeking a Painter and Decorator to assist their busy team. Whilst experience is important, the right approach and mindset to constantly achieve the highest quality will not be overlooked. This is a great opportunity for a trades person to work on some of the country’s finest projects. We are looking for a meticulous and skilled installer to fit our handcrafted fine flooring in our clients’ properties.

To apply for this role, you should have:

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Floorcovering Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience installing various flooring types (especially hardwood and parquet).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Great working knowledge of adhesives, finishes, and moisture testing.
• Good physical stamina and safety awareness.
• Good communication, positive attitude and professional demeanour to work on high-end projects.
• A valid CSCS card.

What you'll do

• Prepare subfloors by cleaning, levelling, and reparing surfaces.
• Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas.
• Install flooring using adhesives, nails, or other fastening methods.
• Apply finishes such as stains, sealants, or grout.
• Ensure installations are level, aligned, and that they meet design specifications.
• Maintain tools and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
• Communicate well with clients and team members.
